Browns Gas is a revolutionary technology in which water is safely separated into both hydrogen and oxygen gases. Literally fire from water. Normally, a hydrogen and oxygen mix yields a highly explosive mixture. However, Brown's Gas is a safe, non-explosive gas with remarkable properties. Brown's Gas is a 2:1 "stochiometric" proportion of hydrogen and oxygen gases, the same as ordinary water. It is much cleaner than organic fuels and is much cheaper to operate than ordinary Acetylene gas, MAP gas, HPG gas and Propane. Brown's Gas physical properties make it an extremely safe mixture, because in the unlikely event during welding of a flashback, the gas simply implodes creating a vacuum with a simple "ping" to let you know what happened.

This safe ratio of gases has allowed the creation of a revolutionay new series of gas generators-welders with amazing features:

• Brown's gas can be used with conventional torches and tips, ignition being obtained with a simple hot spark.
• The flame does not emit ultra-violet light, thus welding does not require expensive protective eyewear.
• Since the welder "burns water" there are no toxic fumes (the exhaust is pure water).
• The temperature of the flame, when not in contact with material, is only 259°F - 279°F.
• When the flame from Brown's Gas is applied to a material, it develops the correct temperature required to weld, braze and even cut a variety of materials.
• This inherent variability allows safe welding of fast-melting metals and ceramics, directly welding with aluminum and aluminum based alloys, and even cutting or sublimating tungsten metal with temperatures exceeding 6000°F.
• The Brown's Gas flame can fuse dissimilar metals together, such as brass and aluminum, and can even bond metal to brick or glass.
• Brown's Gas can weld and cut pieces without any prep work required, thus producing additional savings in labor. Even two rusty pieces of steel can be welded or cut without any prep work.
• When Brown's Gas is used to cut (up to 7" of steel), there is no slag. This means that time is not spent filing and dressing up the cut. Cutting with Brown's Gas is faster, smoother and cheaper than cutting with other gases or equipment.
• Make all your welding fuel on-site and never worry about running out of gas. This eliminates nuisance checkups by regulatory agencies.
• The BN-2000 has the capacity to comfortably supply 3 tourches simultaneously for welding/brazing. Approximately 600 liters/hour are needed to cut 2 inches of steel. The same amount of oxygen is needed for cutting as with acetylene fuel. The electrical power consumption for producing 2,000 liters/hour is 8.5 kilowatts per hour (at 10¢ per kw = 85¢ per hour).
